As a dog keeper, I believe that many dog keepers like me will like to wear their dogs with their dog collar. On the one hand they can control their dogs’ actions while on the other hand dog collar can be deemed as a kind of good decoration for dogs. Dog clothes sometimes will make the dogs feel uncomfortable especially in hot summer, dog collars will not bring such problems and it's also easy and convenient to wear. But knowledge about how to wear dog collars correctly is understood by fewer dog keepers, so here I would like to introduce some useful knowledge about dog collars for dog keepers' reference. LED dog collar is popular nowadays for its amazing appearance as well as prominent function, and of course I also bought one to my dog Bobby---a green LED pet collar. It gained a lot of admiration when I walked Bobby in the park, and several of my neighbors who keep dogs as well even asked me where they could buy one. Although stylish look is good, you should first notice that whether your dog looks comfortable or not.

As for the correct method of wearing dog collar, first you should train your dog to get used to the dog collar. For example, the leash should be tightened when the dog tries to lead its master or walk to the different direction. There is a kind of night safety dog collar which can help prevent the lose of your dog in the dark. Second, the collar should neither too lose nor too tight. Your dog will feel uncomfortable and unwilling to wear the dog collar next time. Last but not the least, you have to realize that you should control the dog but not let the dog controls you. And if your dog attempts to control you when walking, you should tighten the leash so that your dog could remember the signal.
